Countrywide second dose mass vaccination drive begins

The second dose of Covid-19 mass vaccines was administered in the country starting Tuesday.

Yesterday afternoon, Ahmad Kaikaus, the principal secretary to the prime minister, presided over a video conference.

The decision states that those who received the first dose of vaccine in any city area on August 7 or 8 will receive the second dose today. Those who received the first dose on August 9 or 10 will receive the second dose tomorrow.

The second dose will be given to those who received the first dose on August 11 or 12.

Every person who received the first dose outside of city areas will receive a second dose today, August 7.

All mayors of all city corporation, principal coordinator (SDG affairs), Information and Communication Technology Division senior Secretary, Public Security Division Senior Secretary, Local Government Division Senior Secretary, Health Services Division Senior Secretary, Directorate General Health Services Director General, all divisional commissioners and all police commissioners. All DIGs of any ranges, all civil surgeons and all concerned government officials of the field level joined this video-conference.
